York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are asking for the public's assistance in identifying and apprehending four subjects wanted in connection with a violent robbery in the City of Vaughan on Monday, August 20 th , 2007.
At approximately 5:15 a.m. three people (the victims) were in a vehicle in the area of Pine Valley Drive and Clubhouse Road when they were approached and forced to stop by four subjects who were driving a stolen vehicle. The subjects approached the driver's side window, smashed it out and then sprayed the victims with a bear repellent product. Two of the victims were forced from the vehicle as the subjects removed two duffle bags filled with a large quantity of jewellery that the three victims were transporting to a show they were going to attend. The third victim remained in the vehicle and was able to drive away from the scene, preventing the theft of the remainder of the jewellery. The victims received minor injuries as a result of this incident.
The four subjects, all described as male, white, possibly of Italian descent and 40 to 55 years of age, were last seen travelling southbound on Pine Valley Drive in a stolen gray, 1999 Dodge Caravan bearing Ontario licence plate AEZT 053. They made off with an undisclosed amount of jewellery.

Both York Regional Police Service and JVC recommend that if you should find yourself to be the victim of a robbery, be sure to cooperate with the subjects and get the best description possible, including the licence plate of the vehicle. Do not fight back. Report suspicious people and vehicles to Police. The Police will respond to these calls.
